How Sponsorship Works

Sponsorship Period and Placement

Sponsorship is measured in monthly terms (calendar month) and includes the sponsor's message in a prominent yet non-obtrusive position at the top of each page of YieldCat

Your Message and Link

Each sponsor gets to craft their own message of up to 200 characters, which appears on our platform with a clear "Sponsored by" prefix. This message should reflect your brand's identity while maintaining our commitment to transparency. You can link this message to any resource of your choosing - whether it's your homepage, a specific product, or a special offer for our community.

When it comes to URLs, we want to ensure maximum reach for your message. While you're welcome to use tracking parameters and monitor visitor activity on your site, we ask that you avoid using URLs that might be blocked by common ad blockers, as this could prevent many of our security-conscious users from accessing your content.

Sponsorship Limitations

Sponsors DO NOT get email lists of users of the platform nor channel to message them directly.

Sponsors DO NOT get to advertise on our Discord server, or risk permanent ban.

Link Safety and Content Standards

As a platform dedicated to security education, we take the safety of our community seriously. We reserve the right to review all sponsored links and remove any that engage in malicious or unethical practices. This includes, but is not limited to, links that:

  • Distribute malware or potentially unwanted programs
  • Attempt to inject malicious code or scripts
  • Engage in user data theft or unauthorized collection
  • Implement deceptive redirects or cloaking
  • Use bait-and-switch tactics or misleading claims
  • Lead to phishing attempts or social engineering schemes

Our goal is to maintain the trust of our community while providing value to our sponsors through legitimate, transparent partnerships.
